Mario Georges Verheyden is an internationally renowned horseman, third-level instructor, federal trainer and teacher in riding courses organised for youngsters, adults, amazons and novice or expert riders. His victories in the national and international arena are numerous, the most impressive being the one in Rome in 1996 in the Small Piazza di Siena Grand Prix; for many years, he also represented the Italian team in at least twenty Nations Cups with considerable results.
An avid diver and skier, Rita Leo Verheyden is a Federal Technician, journalist, editor-in-chief of the online magazine Horse Show Jumping and sports commentator for Eurosport, as well as having taught sailing for many years.
